For Multi-Factor Authentication, you need a phone number. If you do not have a company phone and do not wish to use your personal phone, here is an option.

1. Go to https://www.textnow.com/signup

2. Use your work email address, type a password, and click SIGN UP.

3. Check your email and click the Click here to verify email button in the email with the subject "Welcome to TextNow! Next step: verify your email" from <noreply@textnow.me>.

4. Enter your area code and click Continue. It should ask for verification (click to say you are not a robot) and should issue you a number:

5. You can now make and receive calls and text messages. Set up this number as your authentication number for Multi-Factor Authentication.

6. You should get the following pop-up - click Allow

7. Click Not now or Allow for Turn on Desktop Notifications (personal preference)

8. Bookmark https://www.textnow.com/messaging so you can visit it later to receive calls/codes.
