Importing Your Calendar
1. Log into your Google Calendar account by navigating in your web browser to https://calendar.google.com.
2. In the top menu bar, select the gear icon to access your calendar settings.
3. From the menu on the left side, choose Import and Export.
4. If you have multiple calendars set up they will all be listed here. Click the Export option.
5. Your calendars will zip into a compressed folder with your email address + ical. Once the zip process is complete, you will see the file processing in your downloads bar. If you do not see the file in your downloads bar, navigate to your downloads folder. Once this process is complete open the zip folder.
6. Choose the Extract option. The default is to store this folder in your downloads. If you would like to choose a different location, click the button with the 3 ellipses and navigate to where you would like to temporarily store these files.
The extracted file will look like this, and if you have multiple Google Calendars you'll see an ICS file for each one. Now you're ready to import your Google Calendar into Microsoft Outlook.
For each Google Calendar you want to import perform the following steps (most users will only want to import the file with their email address):
7. Open Outlook
8. Click File
9. Click Open & Export
10. Click Import/Export (do not click Open Calendar)
11. In the Import and Export Wizard choose Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) and then choose Next.
12. Browse to where you stored the extracted file (most likely Downloads), choose the file that is your email address, and choose OK.
13. At the window prompt choose Import.
In your Outlook Calendar you should now see your Google Calendar events.
