Steps for Checking Internet Stability

Please do the following on your local computer:

A. Speed Test

1. Open Chrome or any browser you use then go to https://www.speedtest.net/

2. Click on Go and wait for it to finish.

3. Once the test is done, click on the chain icon on the upper left and copy paste the URL under the Web textbox.

4. Send the link to Helpdesk or IT staff requesting the Speed Test.

B. Ping

1. Copy this line (without the quotes): "ping google.com -t"

2. Click on Start or Windows icon (or you can just click on the search bar below the taskbar then paste the one you copied above then click on the first entry that shows up.

3. A command window should show up running the command. Let it run for a while until the command window is filled then take a photo or screenshot like the one below.

4. Send the photo or screenshot to Helpdesk or IT staff requesting for it.
