Creating a Remote Desktop shortcut and connecting to Remote Desktop Make sure you are connected to the VPN first on your personal computer or travel laptop. Click on the Windows icon and type "remote desktop connection" and click on the first one that shows up. The screen below should show up. Enter the Computer name. The computer names will be provided. Click on Show Options and you should be able to enter your Username. The username format should be SEA\username (ex: SEA\jderla). Click the checkbox next to Allow me to save credentials. If you want to use all your monitors (if you have two or more monitors) for Remote Desktop, just click on the Display tab then check Use all of my monitors for the remote session. Go back to the General tab then click on Save As. You can name it whatever you prefer then save it on your Desktop or wherever you prefer. Once done, you can click on Connect. If a prompt shows up like the image below, just check Don't ask me again for connections to this computer then click Connect. Enter your work computer password on the password prompt, then click OK. If a prompt shows up like the image below, just check Don't ask me again for connections to this computer then click Yes. You should now be able to access and work on Remote Desktop. The next time you need to access it, just open the remote desktop shortcut you created.
