Basic Steps For Troubleshooting EMS
Sign out of Computer/Remote Desktop first to reset the session 1. Click on the Start or Windows icon. 2. Click on the User icon. 3. Click on Sign Out. 4. Sign back in again. 5. Check if EMS is running again. 6. You can also restart your computer if it didn't work. Troubleshooting steps if EMS is inaccessible/No internet connection: 1. Open File Explorer or press Window + E. 2. Navigate to This PC, then C drive. 3. Run networkreset.bat 4. If internet is still unavailable, unplug network cable, wait for few seconds then plug it back in. Re-ran the script if necessary. 5. Make sure you are only connected to wired network or SEANZWL WiFi network. Disconnect to Telstra WiFi as it disables your access to EMS. EMS is accessible but data is empty: 1. Close EMS/Access. 2. Open File Explorer. 3. Click on all mapped drives. 4. Open EMS again. 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Click on Change date, time, or number formats or Region. 3. Under Format, choose English (Australia). 4. Click on OK. 5. Open EMS again, it should be working now.

Unable to Email Communications in EMS temporary fix
1. Make sure Outlook 2007/2010 is installed. If not, go to Apps and Features, select Microsoft Office 2007/2010 and click Modify then install Outlook 2007/2010. 2. Repair Office 365. 3. Open Outlook 2007/2010. 4. Setup the email account of the user, just set to any password. 5. Open EMS then ask user to try to use the email communications function. 6. It will either throw an error, or open a new mail window in Outlook 2007/2010. Close the error or the new mail window in Outlook, then close Outlook. 7. Open Outlook 365, wait for it to load. If the enable macro warning appears, click on Enable Macro. 8. Try using email communications function again. It should work.
